What makes up a TEAM for initiative?
There will be a maximum of 10 teams permitted to participate in the Initiative Competition.  Each team is be be made up of 6 cadets (should a team member be detained an alternate may be supplied, with a hand carried CAPF-31).  These teams should represent a good cross section of the cadet population (experienced cadets mixed with newer cadets - male and female).

Teams should bring their own food supplies and will be required to prepare a meal together on Saturday evening.  Teams are also required to bring and establish their living quarters.   Teams with less than 6 members are encouraged to "borrow" a cadet but do not let a smaller team prevent you from coming, your chances of winning or lessened, but you can still have fun.

Judging will be based on the above activities as well as the 10 mental and physical challenges in the field on Saturday.  Judges (in the field and in camp) will be observing and scoring on the following:

LEADERSHIP, FOLLOWERSHIP, MILITARY BEARING, AND ATTITUDE.
